On November 30, 2021, the Oxford Community experienced a senseless tragedy. Four children lost their lives that day. Four children that were kind, giving, and made impacts on the hearts of all they encountered. To honor them, Green Hippo Gifts is continuing our annual fundraising ornament sales.
This year, we are representing Hana St. Juliana. Hana was one of the beautiful souls that lost her life that day.
Hana means "flower" in Japanese, so this year, with the insight of Hana's parents, the ornament features a Japanese Blossom.
100% of the proceeds will be donated to The Hana St. Juliana Memorial Fund. The Hana St. Juliana Memorial Fund, established in November 2022, was created to sponsor projects to memorialize Hana's life. The initial project supported by the fund will be Hana’s Garden in Seymour Lake Park, Oxford, Michigan.
